making sense of it all

I can only imagine what S. Judy's life must be like...trying to figure things out as a five year old with mild/moderate hearing loss:

Last weekend Cinderella had strep throat. S. Judy told me this weekend that she thought Cinderalla had Shrek throat.

A mistake like that could happen to anyone, but for her it occurs fairly frequently.

tri-training

What do you do when something wakes you up in the middle of the night--maybe it's the sound of your daughter who is recovering from pneumonia coughing or maybe it's one of your other daughters walking down the hall to use the bathroom or maybe it's your husband's snoring--and you know your alarm is going to ring at 5:15 AM to wake you for your morning run?

You take a minute before you roll over and look at the clock to say to yourself, "If I feel this tired and it's past 4:30 AM, I'm turning off the alarm and sleeping in."

Then you look.

1:30 AM
